Studying Online Violent Extremism: Methods, Personal Safety, and Ethics

In conjunction with Dr Audrey Gagnon, I designed and led the first PhD training workshop for PhD Students studying online violent extremism.

This workshop focused on methodologies, researcher wellbeing and safety, and ethics. The second day of the workshop was held at Utøya, the site of the 2011 terror attack.

The training was held in June 2023 in Oslo.
